All for construction in one place, that was exactly the guiding idea for innovator Maja Borovina Frankić, when eight years ago she began to patiently and persistently build a Building.hr, digital interactive information platform. Today, it brings together all participants in the construction market, regardless of whether they are undertakings or experts, technical or other orientations, it is only important that their common link is participation in the construction market.

Our interlocutor invested enormous energy in the preparation of this project, not wanting to leave even the slightest detail to chance. Head of development in the family company "Spegra", candidate of the doctoral study of the Faculty of Economics in Split, Maja Borovina Frankić, launched this successful startup with the help of EU funds, protected it and turned it into a powerful tool for all who live from construction and construction.

– In today's time, fast and accurate information is key. We live in a digital era, so we are inevitably aware of this type of media. So far, builders have searched for what they need however they know how to do it, calling around acquaintances and colleagues, googling on the Internet or looking for what they need through social networks, often wasting valuable time, because information related to the profession is dispersed, and what you stumble upon on the Internet, it doesn't have to be correct. That's why I started Building. hr and tried to make graphically and content as practical and simple as possible for managing business users, and to meet key needs. This digital interactive and informative platform becomes the epicenter of all important information in construction – says Maja, and explains the way Building.hr works, which has more and more users every day.

OPEN TO FRANCHISES

– People from the world of construction register in the Building.hr and stakeholders of the construction market in the digital epicentre of construction. The goal is to have all participants in one place, provide digital identities, reduce the time of information flow, raise the level of awareness and cooperation, and balance supply and demand. For example, you often have cases when companies from the continental part of Croatia have a harder time getting jobs in the south than colleagues who work in the Adriatic because they are not timely familiar with the needs of the market, and vice versa, I could say in all directions. That is why on the platform Building.hr meet those who offer their services and those who seek them. The platform is of such architecture and capabilities that it is adapted to the needs of all market participants, regardless of size. All users can optimize the scope of use of the platform depending on their needs. It is also important for those who are just entering the market, so Building.hr is a real chance for them to introduce themselves to colleagues from the industry, start possible cooperation with some of them or simply get valuable advice – says Maja Borovina Frankić.

It is interesting that it is the administrator who "leaks" users into the digital world of construction.

– By no means on our digital platform can appear entrepreneurs with "tails", those who have not paid workers, tax debtors... Also, users on the Building.hr are accompanied by reviews, and all those companies that are assessed as negative in any sense by the reviews can be removed by the administrator – says Maja, and notes that the Building.hr can be advertised at the foreseen conditions and prices that are extremely favorable.

– Employers need associates, workers and machines, including marketing or sales, and workers need work, and this is the opportunity to achieve their goals on the platform Building.hr. As Building.hr grows, so will we be open to franchises. My wish is that the project will come to life beyond our borders, in the countries of the region and throughout the European Union. I think that's what our construction deserves. We as a branch have good references in the world, respect has been gained by Croatian construction experts and workers, and in this way, by communicating daily through a common platform, we can further improve the acquired knowledge and skills – says our interlocutor.

Building. hr is a very complex platform, so it is not only dealt with by our internal IT team, but also by reputable partner companies from the same industry, in order to expand, improve and update it on a daily basis. It is important that all the information provided by registered users from the construction profession – accurate, verifiable, and as such useful to those who are members of the great Building. the COMMUNITY.

ECOSYSTEM

How far the project has come, shows the data on the partnership established with FINA, so that it would be possible to instantly dispose of certain information available to this state agency.

The project Building.hr strongly supported by the Center for Digital Construction Croatia, chaired by Monika Mlakić, so our interlocutor took the position of cdi board member. They are aware, says our interlocutor, that digital processes in construction should be in accordance with the time and needs of the market, and this is exactly what Building.hr offers. Provide construction operations with the greatest usefulness of digital potential, strengthen B2B cooperation, and improve the construction market as a whole.

– This is not Facebook or some similar social network where they talk about anything and can register whoever they want and without any criteria. The Building.hr are targeted by those who are professionally engaged in construction as employers, workers or theorists of the profession who approach it analytically, so it is known exactly what kind of information you can get here and who exactly stands behind it with all the references that follow a particular legal entity or person engaged in construction. Our goal and mission is to be an ecosystem of the construction market where all stakeholders meet regardless of whether they are investors, public bodies, companies, or independent experts. – concludes Maja Borovina Frankić.

For all those who are the present and future of construction, the slogan is to welcome business users of the platform Building.hr

Judging by the situation in the industry in which there is no shortage of work and professional challenges today, there is no doubt about the bright future of the Croatian construction sector.
