The platform Building.hr strives to network companies, and will also have a peer review option.
The Croatian construction sector has recently become richer for the platform Building.hr, which is conceived as a database of information, contacts and other valuable and relevant content for companies from the construction sector.
The main goal of the platform is to network and connect companies, help them find adequate and proven partners and subcontractors, speed up and simplify processes, and thus contribute to a stronger development of construction in Croatia.
Behind the idea of the platform is a team led by Maja Borovina Frankić, an economist with extensive experience in the construction sector through engagement in the family business Spegra, a leader in the niche of remediation works.
The Building.hr platform was created in response to the long-standing problems that the construction sector is continuously struggling with, which have been extremely emphasized in the last few years – lack of labor, non-systematic data, unavailability of information, poor B2B cooperation, disproportion of supply and demand with regard to geographical position, and a significant lag behind digital trends.
"The idea is almost ten years old, it has been intensively developed for the last four years, and with the beginning of 2023 it has seen the light of day. It is conceived as an exclusive, digital ecosystem of the entire market in which private and public investors, companies regardless of size and activity, independent experts, various institutions and institutions can find their place, and they have in common that they participate in the construction market. By increasing cooperation between companies, we can together reduce and eliminate the difficulties we all face," says Maja Borovina Frankić.
In just over two months since launch, the platform already has more than 500 registered companies, and will also have a company review option in the future.
They will inform, for example, about new materials that have arrived on the Croatian market and new trends in foreign markets...
"Feedback is good. By developing the platform and registering an increasing number of market stakeholders, platform users are easily accessible and systematic data, easier to find business entities, achieve B2B cooperation, job advertisements and marketing", added Maja Borovina Frankić.
